Jenna, oh Jenna!
Bush Wedding takes Salado and surrounding areas by storm. One of the highlights of any trip to Texas is to stop off in the very popular town of Salado, located on Interstate Highway 35, about 48 miles north of Austin and 18 miles south of Temple with antique shopping, boutiques, art and décor shops galore. As the excitement of the first-family wedding hit this May, flags waved all along Main St and patrons sat on lawn chairs ready to welcome the visiting entourage to town. Ambrosia Tea Room’s Jane Voight compared the weekend to the Holiday Stroll that encompasses the town in December. It was a great boost for town businesses, residents and patrons.
